Next, we killed time waiting for the bus by taking pictures of each other. My girls are actually pretty good picture takers!
What a super dad! He drove all the way from downtown Portland to see his baby girl on her first day of school! (yes, he went back to work!)
The bus is here!!!!!!!
This is when we were politely shooed out of the room, so school could REALLY start! Megan said she had fun, but apparently a couple boys were teasing her and she did not like that....I told her the boys always tease the cute girls....she responded that she did not want to be cute then. We'll see how day #2 goes! She REALLY REALLY REALLY wants to ride the bus home tomorrow (I wanted to pick her up from school for a while)...guess I better let my little girl fly out of the nest!

Let the fun begin! Thanks for stopping by to share the love!
Could she be any cuter? I think not.
Glad I got to see you guys this afternoon.
I still pick Ben up from school..........he rides the bus in the morning, but I'm to possesive of the "immediatly after school minutes" when he is eager to chat before the afternoon grumpies set in!
Wow! A school bus and everything! Megan does indeed look cute and I'm sure each day will be even more and more fun! Thanks!
She looks so grown up!! Not the same young Megan we just saw weeks ago. :) Love the pictures and love that Damon came home just to see her off. What a great Mommy and Daddy!
She is truely adorable! My kids were the same, "See ya later mom!" and got on the bus. Never a tear (from them anyways) but they've always been to the core independant!!! You have to give them that! I hope she doesn't get teased anymore...that's not fun. BUT, your advice is SOOOOO true! It's the cute ones that get teased.....or chased. Ug!
yeah for kindergarten!! she looks so great and i love her hat! we loved afternoon class too - so much more relaxing!
soooooo cute! what a big girl she is, complete with super stylin hat :) i am so proud of her! she should tell those boys "you know, people only tease you when they like you" - THAT should scare away some 6 year old boys!
Good Job Mom! you're doing great!!! i know there is a tough transition time, but it greats really sweet watching them grow!
Megs looks so grown up in that hat...I'm so proud of her!
